The color theory of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Rudolf Steiner in compare

The present master thesis compares die theories of colors created by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Rudolf Steiner, who both created their individual theory as a reaction regarding another one published approximately a century prior to them. The thesis presents their theories and compares them on the basis of a certain set of categories. Their circumstances of origin, contemporaneous usage, interdisciplinarity and creation of the chromatic circle as an explanatory tool are defined and discussed. Furthermore a description of noticeable differences and similarities is added and the author points out the possible influences of the chromatic theories towards other poetical, philosophical or paedagogical works of the respetive creator.

Synopsis The aim of this Bachelor thesis is not rendered and reveal the alchymist procedures, but rather to know the thinking of the alchemists and their destinies, because not all of them were con artists who would like to share the fraudulent ways and so enrich at the expense of its surroundings. A few of them not only made money, but even borrowed, and eventually ended up in prison. Most of them really believe in their dreams of actinide transmutation and extending the life and the other on the contrary, have ceased to believe in the miracle of riches by using the transmutation and rather started to think about whether something like that is possible and then go back to the top. And it was actually the beginning of the inquiry and that of the beginning of a new scientific discipline and chemistry. Of course, that together with the effort of the alchemists of actinide transmutation of metals, and search for the stone is associated and the destinies of famous players of this science and it, from the founder of the Herma Trismegistose to the present, because the dream of the alchemists is not foreign or today's man.

The work is intended as a study text for the course History of Physics. It is divided into four parts. The first part is briefly summarized Newton's entire life. The second part is an overview of the political situation in Europe and the state of scientific knowledge in Newton's times. There is a list of prominent scientific personalities. The third part describes Newton's work in the field of mathematics, classical mechanics, optics and astronomy. There is also mention of ether. Part four briefly describes the work, "Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy".
